I have contributed the translation of the text to the publication, whilst the introduction and comments to the text have been provided by Prof. Tatyana Mikhailova. This translation was a part of my MPhil dissertation about Irish immrama ('voyage') texts which narrate the fictional tales of people traveling westward on the ocean, in this case, two monks, Snedgus and Mac Riagla. This translation was one of a series of translations of immrama texts to Russian, to make them available for Russian-speaking students and the general public.
