Identificación de un animal usando Deep Learning

Abstract

Este código se ha usado en presentaciones como la Semana de la Ciencia en la ETSIIT de la Universidad de Granada en 2023. La idea es mostrar a personas ajenas a la IA cómo una IA es capaz de identificar animales. Este proyecto muestra un simple ejemplo en Julia usando un notebook en Pluto para identificar un animal usando un modelo Preentrenado de Metalhead.jl El esquema es muy sencillo: Primero se elige una imagen (del directorio) o bien local, o bien de una URL. Si es una URL externa el sistema descarga la imagen (si fuese necesario) temporalmente. Aplica el VGG para identificarlo, y muestra el nombre del animal.
