Bilinçli Alıştırma Kavramının Vygotsky'nin Bilişsel Gelişim Kuramı Çerçevesinde Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu makalede bilinçli alıştırma kavramı Vygotsky’nin Bilişsel Gelişim Kuramı çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan bilimsel araştırmalar, bilinçli alıştırma olarak adlandırılan bir formda gerçekleştirilen çalışmaların bir konuda ustalık geliştirmek için bilinen en iyi yol olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu kavramın popülerleşmesi ile birçok yazar bilinçli alıştırma kavramının Vygotsky’nin Bilişsel Gelişim kuramı ile ilişkili olduğunu vurgulamıştır. Diğer taraftan bu değerlendirmeler birkaç cümleden öteye gitmeyen notlar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu makalede bilinçli alıştırma kavramı ile Vygotsky’nin kuramı sistematik bir biçimde karşılaştırılmıştır. Bilinçli alıştırmanın özellikleri yakınsak gelişim alanı, daha bilgili birey ve yapı iskelesi kavramları çerçevesinde tartışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu kavram ve kuramın getirdiği açıklamaların amaçlarının birbirlerinden farklı olduğu görülmüştür. Vygotsky’nin Bilişsel Gelişim Kuramı çerçevesinde önerdiği çerçevenin, ustalık eğitimine uygulandığında, bilinçli alıştırmanın sağladığı faydayı artırabileceği düşünülmektedir.

This article provides a comparative analysis of deliberate practice and Vygotsky's theory of cognitive development. Empirical results have shown that deliberate practice is the most effective method for developing expertise in various areas. Furthermore, many authors link the deliberate practice to Vygotsky's cognitive development theory. However, these explanations are often limited to brief discussions. This article contrasts deliberate practice with Vygotsky's cognitive development theory, analyzing their defining features and key concepts like the zone of proximal development, more knowledgeable others, and scaffolding. Consequently, it becomes evident that there is a divergence between the objectives between deliberate practice and Vygotsky's theory of cognitive development. Utilizing Vygotsky's framework within the context of expertise development would strengthen the advantages of deliberate practice
