Abstract

Türkiye diğer bazı meyvelerde olduğu gibi, sert kabuklu meyve türlerinde de Dünya'nın önde gelen üretici ülkelerinden birisidir. FAO 2021 verilerine göre, dünya sert kabuklu meyveler üretim oranlarına bakıldığında, Türkiye dünya fındık üretiminin %63,5'ini, cevizin %9,29'unu, bademin %4,46'ını, Antep fıstığının %13,03'ünü ve kestanenin ise %3,43'ünü karşılamaktadır (FAO, 2023) (Tablo 1).
