Abstract

L'évaluation de la tonicité corporelle et sa régulation a depuis très longtemps constitué une approche thérapeutique très répandue. L'origine de ce tonus est de mieux en mieux comprise, et l'implication du fascia dans ce phénomène semble incontournable. Les recherches actuelles sur le fascia tendent à confirmer les intuitions des fondateurs des thérapies manuelles et gestuelles. Sa place dans la physiologie et notamment dans la régulation du tonus myofascial, ainsi que son lien avec la vie psychique devient de plus en plus évident. Ainsi, les actions somato-psychiques de la fasciathérapie MDB sont mieux comprises et en partie validées par les sciences de laboratoire.
