In the deliverable 4.4, the technical aspects related with the development of a sensorized fluidic platform will be described. This platform will be used to develop the in-vitro model in the following WPs. The development of the fluidic platform has required the collection of the specification. In particular CNR, the biological partner, has provided goal to be achieved, in order to finalize the biological model (4.4.1). Once the specifications have been analysed, the industrial partners have focused the attention on different aspects of the platform: • Elvesys has designed and produced the fluidic circuit (4.4.2), a flow controller (4.4.2), a pH and a O2 sensors (4.4.2) • IVTech has developed the cell culture chamber (4.4.3) • Eurecat has designed and realized the electrodes (4.4.4) and the platform to control the electrical stimulation of the cells (4.4.5) An important step has been represented by the integration of the technologies. CNR has tested the modules and IVTech has helped in the technical aspects of the prototype's integration. Then, CNR has provided the preliminary biological data, to evaluate the usability and the efficacy of the prototypes.
