Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo revisar o artigo escrito por Pereira et al.3, Definição de marcadores químicos para Hancornia speciosa Gomes por análise quimiométrica baseada na composição química dos extratos, seu efeito vasorelaxante e inibição da α-glicosidase. Assim, além de uma visão crítica, também são apresentadas diferentes aplicações do fruto da Mangaba na área médica, sob o ponto de vista químico e biológico, além da análise de outro artigo que corrobora com os achados de Pereira et al., escrito por Silva et al.
