Marketing verde y responsabilidad social: binomio estratégico para la sustentabilidad empresarial

Abstract

En analogía con las exigencias actuales de ajuste organizacional ante factores como globalización, cambio climático y tecnología, el objetivo del presente estudio es evaluar la relación entre el marketing verde y la responsabilidad social en organizaciones mexicanas. Se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa, de alcance correlacional, con diseño no experimental, transeccional descriptivo, aplicado a una muestra de 400 empresas Hidalguenses. Los hallazgos destacan una alta correlación con políticas orientadas al respeto de derechos humanos, prevención de contaminación y gestión de residuos, una correlación media en actividades de marketing verde que fortalecen el valor de la marca en directriz a difundir a los clientes la sostenibilidad de los productos o servicios ofertado, y una correlación alta con el aspecto de valoración del entorno empresarial. Se concluyeque las empresas sujetas a estudio promueven prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, procurando la sustentabilidad ambiental y social e integran el marketing verde en sus productos y servicios, garantizando validez para la sociedad.
