CARTEIRA CONSCIENTE: RECICLAGEM DE PEAD COMO ALTERNATIVA SUSTENTÁVEL NA ESCOLA

Abstract

Trabalho apresentado no V Congresso Brasileiro de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão, com resumo publicado em anais (ISBN: 9786588884614). O projeto versa sobre o desenvolvimento de solução sustentável para a recuperação de mobiliário escolar, mediante o reaproveitamento de Polietileno de Alta Densidade (PEAD). A metodologia estruturou-se na coleta e processamento de resíduos plásticos, trituração e processamento térmico em prensa artesanal (180∘C), com posterior moldagem de chapas poliméricas para a substituição de componentes estruturais de madeira. O estudo demonstra a viabilidade técnica e a sustentabilidade econômica da alternativa, com a mitigação do descarte de resíduos sólidos no ambiente escolar e promoção da educação ambiental prática.
