In deze bijdrage worden enkele recente ontwikkelingen in de praktijk van pensioenregelingen en de verslaggeving daarvan volgens IFRS beschreven. Zo wordt bezien in hoeverre recent voorgestelde benaderingen nadere inzichten verschaffen inzake de toepassing van, op basis van IAS 19, in de Nederlandse praktijk ontwikkelde ‘hybride’ pensioenregelingen, dan wel in hoeverre deze benaderingen een oplossing kunnen zijn voor knelpunten die bij de toepassing van de huidige IAS 19 in de Nederlandse pensioensituatie worden ervaren.
