Abstract

De voorgenomen introductie van het toezicht op de financiële verslaggeving door de Autoriteit Financiële Markten (verder Autoriteit-FM) draagt bij aan het herstel van het vertrouwen in de financiële markten. Van belang is de integratie van dit toezicht met de internationale ontwikkelingen op het gebied van financiële verslaggeving. In dit artikel wordt ingegaan op de organisatie van het toezicht, de wettelijke en internationale aspecten en de visie van de Autoriteit-FM inzake het toezicht op de financiële verslaggeving.
