Abstract

This repository contains Switch model inputs and outputs used for the June 2026 Energy Innovation study "Let The Sun In: Clean Energy Is The Cheapest Way To Meet Rising Demand". Please see the main study repository at https://github.com/EnergyInnovation/Switch-US-Load-Growth-2030 for instructions on how to use these files to reproduce the study results. More information on Energy Innovation is available at https://energyinnovation.org/. More information on Switch is available at https://switch-model.org. You can setup a minimal version of the models used for the study, containing only the Switch model inputs and outputs, not the upstream data or reporting scripts, by installing Switch 2.0.9 from PyPI or conda-forge, then expanding all the .zip files from this Zenodo repository into a common directory (use the '_unix' version for macOS and Linux, '_windows' version for MS Windows).
