Abstract

First mention of Nomada numida Lepeletier 1841 (Apoidea - Apidae - Nomadini) for mainland France. - We present here the discovery of Nomada numida Lep. 1841 in France (Var) during the spring of 2017. The knowledge relative to the distribution of the two subspecies (N. numida ssp. numida Lep. 1841 and N. numida ssp. manni Morawitz 1871) is then synthesized. In addition, an update of the distribution of N. mauritanica Lep. 1841 and its two subspecies is given.
