Abstract

Ce travail étudie le fonctionnement des avertisseurs communicationnels dans un corpus de contes africains. Dans une perspective d’Analyse du Discours, il répond à la question suivante : quels sont les formes et les valeurs des avertisseurs dans le discours des contes ? Le corpus, composé de deux recueils : Contes et lavanes de Birago Diop et le Collectif Contes et légendes du Bénin, nous permet, d’une part, de faire le cadrage définitionnel et typologique des avertisseurs et, d’autre part, d’analyser leurs valeurs pragmatiques, argumentatives et génériques. Nous nous fondons sur la théorisation proposée par Hilaire Bohui.
