A first ecological description of the lichen-clad larva of <i>Eublemmistis chlorozonea<i> Hampson, 1902 (Lepidoptera: Erebidae) from a southern Afrotemperate forest.
The unusual habit of the larva of <i>Eublemmistis chlorozonea<i> Hampson, 1902 (Lepidoptera: Erebidae) of covering itself in its lichen host is reported and illustrated for the first time. We review the known information on this species and discuss its ecology and distribution.
