Une terminologie commune pour les caractères morphologiques externes des mille-pattes (Chilopoda) est proposée. Les termes sont choisis parmi les alternatives utilisées dans la littérature anglaise, préférant celles les plus fréquemment utilisées ou celles qui ont été introduites explicitement. Un total de 330 termes sont définis et illustrés, et environ 500 autres alternatives sont répertoriées.
Se propone una terminología común para los caracteres morfológicos externos de los ciempiés (Chilopoda). Los términos se seleccionan a partir de las alternativas utilizadas en la literatura inglesa, prefiriendo aquellas que se utilizan con mayor frecuencia o aquellas que se han introducido explícitamente. Se definen e ilustran un total de 330 términos, y se enumeran otras 500 alternativas.
A common terminology for the external morphological characters of centipedes (Chilopoda) is proposed. Terms are selected from the alternatives used in the English literature, preferring those most frequently used or those that have been introduced explicitly. A total of 330 terms are defined and illustrated, and another ca 500 alternatives are listed.
