Abstract

Des spécimens récemment collectés du genre distinctif Umanella, de Colombie et d'Équateur, sont attribués à Umanella caerulea Gauld (maintenant connue du Costa Rica et de la Colombie) et à Umanella giacometti Broad & Sääksjärvi, sp.n. (de l'Équateur). La variation au sein et entre les espèces est évaluée.

Los especímenes recientemente recolectados del género distintivo de proxeneta, Umanella, de Colombia y Ecuador se asignan a Umanella caerulea Gauld (ahora conocida de Costa Rica y Colombia) y Umanella giacometti Broad & Sääksjärvi, sp.n. (de Ecuador). Se evalúa la variación dentro y entre las especies.

Recently collected specimens of the distinctive pimpline genus, Umanella, from Colombia and Ecuador are assigned to Umanella caerulea Gauld (now known from Costa Rica and Colombia) and Umanella giacometti Broad & Sääksjärvi, sp.n. (from Ecuador).Variation within and between species is evaluated.
