La vida es una tómbola: imaginario social comunitario en presencia del Covid-19

Abstract

El propósito de este ensayo fue reflexionar acerca de la posibilidad de contagiarse con el COVID-19, al transgredir las normas de autocuidado, lo cual invita a hacerlo desde lo metafórico de la frase “la vida es una tómbola”; para centrar el impacto que sobrevino al escuchar decir “a mí no me va a pasar”, en tanto al recorrer la “ciudad jardín” de Venezuela, percibí un aspecto del imaginario comunitario, respecto al significado que le otorgaban al riesgo de contagio, lo que ha alterado la vida cotidiana de la comunidad. Se trata de un conjunto de voces diversas y sus narraciones compartidas, a las cuales apliqué la hermenéutica de la escucha activa, donde emergen categorías clave del imaginario social comunitario, porque ellos son los protagonistas: la familia, la gente en la calle, expresando el pensamiento urbano acerca del azar de contagio, a propósito de las festividades navideñas.
