Perspectiva y retos de los profesionales de la evaluación científica y la bibliometría

Abstract

El panorama actual de indicadores se caracteriza por una gran ebullicion en cuanto a nuevas fuentes de informacion cientifica y propuestas de indicadores cientificos. Sin embargo, los procesos de evaluacion nacionales en Espana y America Latina se caracterizan por emplear indicadores y criterios definidos por un conservadurismo y una vision de la ciencia actual cada vez mas obsoletos y cortos de miras. En esta nota reflexionamos sobre esta paradoja y planteamos ideas sobre como podriamos trabajar desde la comunidad bibliometrica tanto academica como profesional, para conectar estos dos mundos, el de la investigacion en el desarrollo de indicadores y el de los procesos nacionales de evaluacion, cada vez mas alejados.
