Między polityką a religią. O rytuałach i rytualności konfederacji barskiej

Abstract

Przedmiotem rozważań zawartych w artykule są rytuały wspierające konfederatów barskich w trudzie „walki o niepodległość narodową”. Autorka tekstu przytacza definicje takich pojęć jak „rytuał” czy też „obrzęd” oraz zwraca uwagę na szczególną rolę symbolu w rytualności. Charakteryzuje również samą literaturę barską, której analiza dowodzi wagi symboliki rycerskiej oraz religijnej (szczególnie kultu Maryjnego) w rytuałach konfederatów.
