Onufrego Kopczyńskiego mariaż gramatyki z polityką

Abstract

Artykuł dotyczy sfer poznawczych poradników językowych i rozmówek wielojęzycznych. Przedmiotem analizy są słowniki wielojęzyczne, głównie zaś Zarys praktycznej i rozumowanej gramatyki polskiej dla Francuzów Onufrego Kopczyńskiego. Przy tej okazji scharakteryzowano mało znane dokonania uczonego pijara jako autora łacińskiej poezji okolicznościowej (1776–1814). Poradnik przeznaczony dla żołnierzy napoleońskich został ukazany jako dobrze wykonana, szlachetna w intencjach publikacja, wskazująca adresatom powinności moralne w stosunku do Polaków – narodu poniżonego politycznie, lecz bogatego kulturalnie, intelektualnie i duchowo.
