
This project presents an early-stage research agenda exploring how cultural, social, and environmental factors shape health behaviors in rural and underserved communities. The focus includes stigma, chronic disease management, and community-based interventions. It represents a transition from 20+ years of fieldwork as a journalist into academic research.
