Zukunft der integrativen Waldbewirtschaftung

Abstract

Die Entwicklung resilienter und zukunftsfähiger Waldnutzungskonzepte erfordert den Ausgleich konkurrierender Nutzungsansprüche sowie ein ganzheitliches, proaktives Handeln angesichts des Klimawandels. Voraussetzung hierfür ist ein lösungsorientierter Dialog zwischen relevanten Akteursgruppen. Das Forschungsprojekt NaBioKom untersucht bislang ungenutzte Potenziale für einen sektorübergreifenden Dialog auf regionaler Ebene und geht der Frage nach, welche Rolle Naturparke und Biosphärenreservate in Deutschland hierbei übernehmen können. Die Ergebnisse beruhen auf einer Online-Befragung deutscher Naturparke und Biosphärenreservate (Eigenwahrnehmung) sowie auf Interviews mit regionalen Akteuren der Forstwirtschaft, des Naturschutzes und der Kommunen (Fremdwahrnehmung) in vier Pilotregionen. Die Analyse zeigt, dass Naturparke und Biosphärenreservate einen lösungsorientierten Dialog unterstützen können. Ansatzpunkte für die thematische Ausrichtung ergeben sich etwa aus gemeinsamen Herausforderungen und Interessen, dem proaktiven Aufgreifen von Zukunftsthemen oder der Beteiligung unterschiedlicher Akteursgruppen. Anknüpfungspunkte an bestehende Aufgaben der Großschutzgebiete bestehen in der Netzwerk- und Projektarbeit, im Rahmen des Wissenstransfers oder in ihrer Moderationsfunktion. Es bedarf hierbei einer sorgfältigen Klärung der eigenen Rolle in Abstimmung mit den Perspektiven weiterer regionaler Akteure.
