Abstract

En este trabajo se describe la implementación de la metodología Flipped Classroom en la asignatura “Marco Jurídico Profesional de la Actividad Física y el Deporte”, del Grado en Ciencias de Actividad Física y el Deporte, como respuesta al incremento en el bajo rendimiento de los alumnos desde la implantación del Grado. El objetivo metodológico ha sido potenciar el aprendizaje activo y colaborativo propio del nuevo rol del docente y del estudiante dentro del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES). Conscientes de la necesidad de llevar a cabo un proceso de evaluación de las consecuencias que dicho cambio puede suponer en los alumnos, en este trabajo también se describe el estudio acerca de las expectativas y la predisposición que dicha metodología ha suscitado en los estudiantes (antes y tras la experiencia) y las consecuencias obtenidas, tanto en relación a la motivación del alumnado hacia la asignatura, como en la repercusión en los resultados académicos.Como principales conclusiones se pueden mencionar las siguientes. En primer lugar, en relación a la valoración de los alumnos y su posterior opinión sobre la metodología, cabe señalar que la experiencia práctica ha mejorado las expectativas que los alumnos tenían a priori, habiendo sido evaluadas con un instrumento ad hoc previamente validado.En segundo lugar, en relación a la motivación y los resultados académicos obtenidos por los estudiantes, la comparación realizada entre alumnos de dos grupos (experimental y control) ha puesto de manifiesto que, si bien el grupo experimental ha incrementado ambos factores, no ha sido estadísticamente significativo.
