Μελέτη των φυσικών, χημικών και βιολογικών ιδιοτήτων διαφόρων τύπων εδαφών με στόχο την μεγιστοποίηση της γεωργικής τους απόδοσης

Abstract

Το έδαφος είναι ένα ανοιχτό σύστημα που αλληλεπιδρά με το περιβάλλον και στο οποίο λαμβάνουν χώρα συνεχώς πολύπλοκες διαδικασίες. Οι φυσικές, χημικές αλλά και βιολογικές ιδιότητές του επηρεάζουν άμεσα την εξέλιξη αυτών των διαδικασιών και τα διαφοροποιούν ώστε να μην είναι όλα καλλιεργήσιμα. Επιπλέον από την εμπειρία μας γνωρίζουμε ότι τα φυτά δεν αναπτύσσονται το ίδιο σε όλα τα καλλιεργήσιμα εδάφη. Για το λόγο αυτό στο εμπόριο βρίσκουμε συνήθως πολλούς τύπους χώματος.Η μελέτη των ιδιοτήτων επτά διαφορετικών τύπων χώματος αποτελεί τα αντικείμενο της εργασίας μας. Εξετάσαμε αν υπάρχουν ουσιαστικές διαφορές στα επιμέρους φυσικοχημικά χαρακτηριστικά τους και κατά πόσο αυτές επηρεάζουν τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες των φυτών.
