Abstract

Ο βιομιμητισμός είναι η καινοτόμα πρακτική της εφαρμογής και της μίμησης μοντέλων της φύσης με σκοπό την επίλυση σύγχρονων προβλημάτων και την δημιουργία τεχνολογιών πιο αποτελεσματικών και πιο φιλικών ως προς το περιβάλλον. Η φύση λειτουργεί αποτελεσματικά και με βιώσιμο τρόπο όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και αυτό έχει εμπνεύσει πολλούς επιστήμονες να χρησιμοποιήσουν τα χαρακτηριστικά των μηχανισμών και τις στρατηγικές σχεδιασμού της φύσης στις ανθρώπινες καινοτομίες. Μέσω των εφαρμοσμένων χρήσεων του βιομιμητισμού μπορούν να παρατηρηθούν τα πολλά πλεονεκτήματα της τεχνικής αυτής.
