The previously monotypic leafhopper genus Loeia Duan is reviewed, redescribed and transferred from Deltocephalini to Punctulini, new placement, based on results of a recent phylogenomic analysis. The following 12 new species are described and illustrated: L. articulata, L. biclavata, L. brevis, L. cetacea, L. chelata, L. compressa, L. decidua, L. elongata, L. robusta, L. serrata, L. sinuata, L. tridentata. A key to species is provided.
