In this paper, a new technique in designing MultiAgent System (MAS) for power system reconfiguration and restoration is proposed. The designed MAS system is based on mimicking the human immune system behavior. The Immune system is a natural intelligent MAS where different components interact to heal the body. Similarly, the proposed multi-agent system is designed to detect and isolate faults, and restore power to the affected loads taking into consideration line capacity, voltage profile and power losses. The proposed approach is demonstrated on a model of Southern California Edison's Circuit of the Future.
