AI-Powered Software Testing Tools: Full Autonomy Remains a Distant Goal

Abstract

As the new Tools column editor, Im excited to kick off this role by exploring one of the most rapidly evolving areas in software engineering: AI-powered testing tools. These tools promise to transform the way we approach test automation by improving efficiency, reducing the maintenance effort of test code, and enhancing defect detection.
