Ueber einige synthetische Glucoside«

Abstract

Unter dem Einflus der starken Salzsaure lassen sich die Zucker mit den Alkoholen und den Oxysauren leicht zu Glucosiden verbinden.1) Die Reaktion ist, wie fruher gezeigt wurde, sehr allgemein und verlauft auch in der Regel ziemlich glatt, sobald man einen Uberschus des Alkohols anwenden kann. Dagegen ist die Isolierung der Produkte, wie die meisten Versuche in der Zuckergruppe, ziemlich muhsam und steigert sich haufig bis zur Unmoglichkeit, wenn es darauf ankommt, kristallierte Substanzen zu gewinnen. In der ersten Mitteilung sind deren nur drei beschrieben, das Methylglucosid, das Methyl-und Athylarabinosid. Es ist uns nun gelungen, noch vier andere kristallisierte Glieder der Gruppe, das Athylglucosid, Methyl- und Athylgalactosid und das Benzylarabinosid darzustellen.
