To establish whether a systematized approach to self-assessment in a laparoscopic surgical skills course improves accordance between expert- and self-assessment. A systematic training course in self-assessment is proposed to be implemented in a laparoscopic surgical skills course. The course will be evaluated to determine its effectiveness in improving self-assessment skills among surgeons. The study aims to investigate the impact of self-assessment on the learning process and the development of surgical skills. By improving self-assessment skills, surgeons can better evaluate their performance and identify areas for improvement, leading to enhanced learning and better patient outcomes.
