The study aimed to assess the auditory processing skills of a group of 6-year-old children with specific language impairment (SLI). The performance of these children was compared to that of a group of age-matched control children. The results showed that the children with SLI performed poorly on several auditory tests, indicating difficulties in auditory processing. This study highlights the importance of assessing auditory processing skills in children with SLI, as it can have a significant impact on their language development and overall communication abilities.
