
This study investigates the impact of the quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) on the Northern Hemisphere. Using 16 CMIP5/6 models with a spontaneously generated QBO-like phenomenon, the research aims to understand the effects of the QBO on the atmosphere. The study focuses on the relationship between the QBO and the Northern Hemisphere's climate patterns, including the polar vortex and the Arctic Oscillation. The results of this study will provide valuable insights into the role of the QBO in shaping the Northern Hemisphere's climate.
