With the increasing complexity of modern data management platforms, evaluating performance isolation has become a crucial aspect of ensuring efficient data processing. In-memory index structures have become a vital component of these platforms, and current research suggests that index-based query processing can significantly impact performance. However, the impact of resource virtualization and sharing, inherent to cloud computing, on performance isolation is not yet fully understood. This research activity aims to investigate the effects of resource virtualization and sharing on performance isolation in cloud-based data management platforms.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
