An mHealth App for Supporting Quitters to Manage C

An mHealth App for Supporting Quitters to Manage C

Abstract

While gains in reducing smoking rates in Finland have been made, prevalence rates are still substantial. Relapse rates among smokers engaged in quit-smoking programs are high. Physical activity has been shown to be a key factor in maintaining smoking cessation. An mHealth app can provide a supportive environment for quitters to manage cravings and stay on track with their quit plan. By leveraging mobile technology, quitters can access a range of tools and resources to help them overcome the challenges of quitting. This includes tracking their progress, setting reminders, and receiving motivational messages. The app can also provide personalized feedback and support to help quitters stay motivated and engaged in their quit journey. Ultimately, the goal of the app is to provide a comprehensive and supportive platform for quitters to manage their cravings and stay smoke-free.
