The polymerization of styrene was studied using half-titanocene (CpCH2CH2OCH3)TiCl3 (1), activated by methylaluminoxane (MAO), in a suitable range of temperatures. The results showed that this catalyst is effective in obtaining syndiotactic–atactic stereoblock polystyrene. The polymerization process was found to be influenced by the temperature, with higher temperatures leading to a decrease in the syndiotacticity of the polymer.
