This article introduces a three-mode variable-frequency zero-voltage switching (ZVS) modulation method for the four-switch buck+boost converter. This method makes this circuit concept well suited for high-frequency applications. The proposed method is compared with other existing methods and shows better performance in terms of efficiency and stability. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in improving the performance of the converter.
