
Four hybrid pixel detectors of Timepix3 technology, installed in the ATLAS experiment, were continuously taking data from April 2018 until the end of the Run-2 data taking period (December 2018). The data collected during this period was used to study the particle tracking and radiation field characterization. The results showed that the detectors were able to accurately track particles and provide valuable information about the radiation field. This study highlights the importance of using advanced detectors in high-energy physics experiments.
