In a dual-task paradigm, we examined participants' ability to make use of prior knowledge of a critical property of the perceptual task. The results showed that participants were able to make use of prior knowledge to improve their performance. This study contributes to our understanding of how prior knowledge can be used to improve performance in perceptual tasks.
