</script>Serotonin has a pivotal function regulating development, growth, reproduction and behavior in animals. The deregulatory effects of threonine hydroxylase (TRH) loss of function mutations on the serotonin pathway were investigated in this study. The results showed that TRH mutations lead to a significant decrease in serotonin levels, which in turn affects various physiological processes. This study highlights the importance of TRH in maintaining normal serotonin levels and its potential role in various diseases.
