En el presente artículo, el autor realiza un breve recuento, en el que se narran los hechos más trascendentes, con respecto a lo que se podría llamar una “Historia del Derecho del Trabajo peruano” en los periodos más resaltantes de nuestra historia.De tal manera, se profundiza sobre este tema en periodos tales como la época del Imperio Inca, el virreinato y la República, recurriendo al apoyo, mediante citas, de historiadores de la talla de Jorge basadre y Julio Cotler, al mismo tiempo en el que se establece una correlación directa e inédita entre el nacimiento del Derecho del Trabajo peruano y los orígenes de la libertad y los movimientos sindicales en el Perú.

In the present article, the author makes a brief recount in which the most significant events regarding what can be named as a “History of peruvian Labor Law” are told along the main periods of our history.In that way, this topic fathoms through periods such as the Inca Empire, the colony and the Republic appealing to the support of quotes from peruvian historians with the stature of Jorge Basadre and Julio Cotler. At the same time, the author establishes a direct and original correlation between the birth of the peruvian Labor Law and the origins of union liberty and trade union movements in Peru.
