Abstract

E-mail: еkaterina.sherstobitowa@yandex.ru E. S. Sherstobitova, South Ural State University, Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation, ekaterina.sherstobitowa@yandex.ru Статья посвящена заставкам, исполненным в традициях старопечатного стиля мастером книжно-рукописного искусства, писцом и художником-знаменщиком Федором Сергеевым Басовым. The article is devoted to the headpieces of the early printed style, created by the master of the manuscript art, scribe and drawing-artist Feodor Sergeev Basov. The author analyses composition of headpieces, created by Feodor by comparing with headpieces of the early printed books. The results of the study showed that the most influence on the master was provided book decoration of Apostle by Ivan Fedorov and Peter Mstislavets 1564. To pioneer the use of the element-structural method for ornamentation, suggested by N. P. Parfentjev, allowed considering the individual components of the Feodor’s headpieces, to compare it with the elements of decoration of the early printed books, and on this basis to identify, which of them have become models for the ornamentation of the master. It allows analyzing the peculiarities of his art. The author revealed that Feodor Basov not only copied the headpieces of the Moscow printed books, but also created their own versions of the ornament.
