
The invention relates to a method for producing solid dosage forms by forming a plastic mixture of at least one polymer binding agent, at least one active ingredient and possibly usual additives, which mixture is then shaped. The invention is characterized in that a water-swellable polyurethane having a glass transition temperature Tg >/= 20 DEG C is used as the polymer binding agent.
