Inventarios de fauna y flora en los DRMIs Embalse Peñol - Guatapé y Cuenca Alta del Río Guatapé, Las Camelias y el área a declarar Cuenca de San Pedro

Abstract

Los inventarios de flora y fauna fueron realizados como un componente de los planes de manejo de las áreas protegidas, en el 2016 a través del convenio marco 177-2016 suscrito entre Cornare e Isagen se elaboró el plan de manejo del Distrito Regional de Manejo Integrado Las Camelias, así mismo mediante el convenio N 423-2016 se llevó a cabo el plan de manejo del Distrito Regional de Manejo Integrado Embalse Peñol - Guatapé y Cuenca alta del Río Guatapé, la información registrada en los inventario fue primordial para la identificación de Valores Objeto de Conservación en las áreas y la posterior elaboración del plan estratégico. Finalmente con el apoyo de Naturaleza y Cultura internacional se suscribió el convenio 477-2016 para la declaratoria de nuevas áreas protegidas en la jurisdicción de Cornare dentro de las actividades se contempló el desarrollo de inventarios de flora y fauna en el área a declarar Cuenca de San Pedro, lo cual se constituyó como un insumo importante para justificar la importancia de la declaratoria.
