Abstract

A natureza subjetiva e interpretativa da análise do exame de Papanicolaou requer grande conhecimento e experiência do profissional responsável. A tecnologia e a construção de ferramentas de auxílio ao citopatologista podem serúteis na busca pela excelência no diagnóstico. Usufruindo de um comportamento usual dos especialistas, de buscar apoio e discussão com outros profissionais, este trabalho propõe o aplicativo CitoFocus como um ambiente colaborativo voltado para a discussão de casos, com foco nas imagens e informações clínicas.
