
To the Editor. —Comings et al1reported on the presence of theAlallele of the D2dopamine receptor gene in several large samples of neuropsychiatric disorders frequently associated with alcoholism or believed to involve defects in dopaminergic neurotransmission. Surprisingly, social phobia was not included in the study.
