Somatic Embryogenesis in Rubber Tree (Hevea brasiliensis Müll. Arg.)

Abstract

Les caractéristiques biochimiques et histologiques des cals et des embryons ont été étudiées à différentes étapes de l'embryogenèse somatique de l'hévéa. L'embryogenèse somatique est obtenue systématiquement avec les clones PB 260, PB 235, PR 107, RRIM 600 et GTI. Néanmoins, la procédure doit être améliorée afin de stabiliser le potentiel embryogène et d'aboutir à la formation de plantules complètes. Environ 100 somaplants des clones PR 107, PB 260 et RRIM 600 ont été plantés en juin 1992 pour un essai en champ à des fins de comparaison avec les clones habituellement greffés
