Abstract

Resumen Este recurso contiene los registros de la fauna de quirópteros de sotobosque asociados a dos fragmentos de bosque seco tropical en la Vereda El Carbonero, Municipio de Santander de Quilichao, región norte del Departamento del Cauca, ubicados a 2° 59' 9,6'' N – 76° 28' 44,4'' W y 2° 59' 27,6'' N – 76° 28' 30,0'' W respectivamente. Se realizaron 16 eventos de muestreos entre abril y noviembre de 2012. Cada evento de muestreo tuvo una duración de una noche, utilizándose ocho redes de niebla que estuvieron abiertas desde las 18:00 horas hasta las 06:00 horas del día siguiente. El conjunto de datos está conformada por 247 registros de 18 especies de murciélagos (Artibeus lituratus, Artibeus jamaicensis, Artibeus (Dermanura) phaeotis, Anoura geoffroyi, Carollia brevicauda, Carollia castanea, Carollia perspicillata, Glossophaga soricina, Messophyla macconelli, Mimon crenulatum, Myotis nigricans, Phyllostomus discolor, Phyllostomus hastatus, Platyrrhinus helleri, Platyrrhinus vittatus, Sturnira luisi, Sturnira lilium, Vampyressa thyone), con información asociada de sexo, edad y hora de captura. Esta base de datos es el registro más detallado de la fauna de quirópteros de sotobosque asociada a un fragmento de Bosque Seco en el norte del departamento del Cauca Abstract This resource contains records from understory bats fauna associated to two tropical dry forest fragments in the vereda El Carbonero, municipality of Santander de Quilichao, in northern zone of Cauca Department, at 2° 59' 9,6'' N, 76° 28' 44,4'' W and 2° 59' 27,6'' N, 76° 28' 30,0'' W respectively. 16 sampling events were carried out from April to November 2012. Each sampling event lasted one night. Eight mist nets were opened during each sampling event, from 18:00 until 6:00 hours of the following day. The data set consist of 247 records of 18 species of bats (Artibeus lituratus, Artibeus jamaicensis, Artibeus (Dermanura) phaeotis, Anoura geoffroyi, Carollia brevicauda, Carollia castanea, Carollia perspicillata, Glossophaga soricina, Messophyla macconelli, Mimon crenulatum, Myotis nigricans, Phyllostomus discolor, Phyllostomus hastatus, Platyrrhinus helleri, Platyrrhinus vittatus, Sturnira luisi, Sturnira lilium, Vampyressa thyone), with associated information of sex, age and capture time. This data set is the most detailed record of bats fauna from the understory of dry forest in Northern Cauca department.
