AbstractThe pyrolysis of antipyrine 4dizaonium flouroborate gave an antipyrylazopyrazopyrazolone instead of the desired 4‐fluoroantipyrine. This compound was formed by intermolecular and intramolecular coupling of the diazo compound at elevated temperatures.
