Galvanochemical (galvanocoagulation) process of water treatment based on use of metals corrosion. This process especially effective for treatment of low concentrated solutions containing wide range admixtures of various natures. Here we present results of investigation on rates of neutral surfactants removal from sodium chloride solutions, correlated with kinetics of carbon steel corrosion and ferrous/ferric hydroxides forming. We also discuss and compare mathematical models that were created in order to describe galvanochemical process.
